​Host a Musical Futures workshop

​​

​Musical Futures International hosts open workshops and offers bespoke workshops and consultancy  for schools and organisations who wish to buy us in directly to work with their students and/or staff. ​​

​
If you would like to offer to host an open workshop at your school or venue, then please read the information below and then contact us at info@musicalfuturesaustralia.org

​Host schools for open workshops are:

  • ​located in an area accessible to those travelling long distances with affordable options for accommodation
  • located in a country where flight costs are likely to be affordable and accessible for delegates
  • located in an area where we are likely to attract 25 or more delegates due to a concentration of international schools locally
  • able to provide access to classroom space and instruments free of charge and in return for free staff places at the workshops
  • able to organise catering-morning tea, lunch and teas and coffee as required (which we will reimburse by invoice)
  • happy to help with some local knowledge by suggesting accommodation, local travel advice and recommendations for how delegates can spend their social time during the workshops
  • have access to local networks or contacts to help us to advertise the workshops 

​Host schools for open workshops get:

  • up to 3 free workshop places for staff (with the option to extend to 4 if bookings exceed 25)
  • the option to share information about their school through our networks
  • logos and school information featured on our website and shared through our channels
  • the opportunity to write a guest blog for our news pages to be shared through our channels

​Musical Futures Australia support open training by:

  • Providing marketing flyers and information for sharing through school networks
  • Providing trainers to deliver the workshops
  • registration system
  • Paying for catering 
  • Being the first point of contact for delegates
  • Managing information on the website
  • Setting up and clearing away spaces leaving them ready for teaching
